3.Metronome on/offThis button activates and deactivates the audio metronome

4.Global tempo–This is the tempo of Gig Performer’s audio metronome. Click in the field and enter a tempo or use the +/- keys above it.

5.Global time signatureClick on the numerator and enter the number of beats per measure, click on the denominator and choose the number of beats per measure from the dropdown menu.

Note: There are tempo settings in the Song Properties and Song Part Properties dialogs, as well as the global tempo, and these settings are accompanied by an Override check box that makes that tempo active. Selecting a song that has a tempo specified and the Override box checked forces Gig Performer to change the global tempo setting to the specified song tempo. A song part with a tempo specified and the Override box checked is the highest priority and overrides both global and song tempos when the part is selected. When the Override box is not checked, a specified tempo is inactive and has no effect.
