To prolong a laptop’s battery life, manufacturers can opt to reduce power consumption by slowing down the CPU. Disable CPU Power Management settings and adjust all the other settings to Maximum Performance.

Review all other power saving features such as Adaptive Thermal Management and also set them to Maximum Performance.
